Radiokimata(radio-waves) have been transmitting continuously since 1996. We have been different from the beginning by giving life, freshness and a different air to Kefalonia's radio waves. All this has been achieved because of the love and attention of the producers for the radio and music.

It covers the widest area and is the best equipped. The high numbers of listeners and the excellent degree of acceptance for the programmes from our listeners means only one thing that our radio station is a very good tool for communication and services. We transmit on the frequency of 100.9 FM stereo RDS covering not only Kefalonia but also a large part of North Western Greece. Our offices and central studio 'master control' is situation in Tzanata.

Radio Waves transmit on a 24-hour basis, 80% Greek music, and a small percentage of foreign music. Our aim is to satisfy the listen with good music. The station went through different stages mostly focused on news broadcasting until September 2001 when there was a big turn. Since then the programme is dedicated only to entertainment.

Alpha News supplies news updates. Besides the news the rest of the programme is completed by news and entertainment programmes which are recorded in Athens in collaboration with Radio Net.
